About Us

I’m Stacy, the mama of a tenacious, brave, energetic and beautifully unique four year old named Luciana. When our family welcomed our tiny 5lb baby, we had no idea what life would look like with her. In the months following her birth, we desperately tried to acclimate to what everyone assured us was a “colicky” baby. With time, therapies, and many doctors visits, we would get the diagnosis’ of Cerebral Palsy and Autism.

My journey as a mother hasn’t been what I expected four short years ago, but what my daughter has taught me has changed my life in ways I can’t put to words. I’m starting this blog in hopes that I can archive my writings, feelings and journey for Luciana to see when she’s older, and in hopes that it might comfort even one other mama.
